Axiomtek – a world-renowned leader relentlessly devoted to the research, development, and manufacture of innovative, highly efficient, and reliable industrial computer products – proudly introduces the iNA300, a compact fanless DIN-rail cybersecurity gateway designed for secure and reliable network deployment in power utility and critical infrastructure environments. Powered by the quad-core Intel Atom® x7433RE processor, it combines high-density network connectivity with a rugged design for reliable, continuous operation and is certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613. The rugged platform is well suited for smart substations, industrial cybersecurity gateway and firewall deployments, as well as power distribution and microgrid systems.

“When designing cybersecurity platforms for power utilities, security is only one part of the equation. The system must also withstand voltage fluctuations, electromagnetic interference, and wide temperature variations, maintain network availability during unexpected interruptions, and remain manageable throughout its lifecycle. The iNA300 was developed to address these operational challenges and provide a reliable foundation for secure, distributed power infrastructure.”
— Kevin Hsiao, Product Manager at Axiomtek
Power Utility-Certified Reliability for Harsh Environments
Designed for demanding power utility environments, the iNA300 is certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, addressing the environmental and electromagnetic compatibility requirements commonly encountered in substations and power infrastructure. Its fanless design and wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C support reliable operation under challenging field conditions. The system also supports 12 to 48 VDC dual power inputs with OVP, UVP, OCP, and RPP protection to help withstand voltage fluctuations and unstable input power conditions in utility deployments.
High-Speed Connectivity with Built-In Network Resilience
The iNA300 provides six 2.5GbE LAN ports and two 1GbE SFP interfaces, offering flexible connectivity for diverse power utility network architectures. Two pairs of 2.5GbE LAN Bypass help maintain network traffic even during a system-level interruption, reducing the risk of communication disruption across critical monitoring and control systems. These features enable reliable integration across smart substations, power distribution systems, and other critical infrastructure networks.
Strengthened Security Throughout the Product Lifecycle
The iNA300 integrates TPM 2.0 to provide hardware-based protection for system identity and security-related data, strengthening its security foundation for critical infrastructure deployments. The platform is also being developed in alignment with Axiomtek’s broader cybersecurity practices and applicable requirements under the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), including progressive SBOM coverage and firmware component tracking, vulnerability management and incident response, as well as coordinated disclosure and security communication practices. These measures help improve product transparency, traceability, and lifecycle security throughout deployment.
Centralized Management for Distributed Deployments
Power utility systems are often deployed across multiple distributed sites, making centralized visibility and efficient maintenance essential for long-term operation. With Axiomtek AXView, operators can monitor system status through a unified management platform, simplifying remote maintenance and reducing the need for on-site service.
Axiomtek’s iNA300 will be available in December. For more product information or customization services, please visit our global website at www.axiomtek.com or contact one of our sales representatives at info@axiomtek.com.tw.
