Axiomtek is joining forces with Australian electronics solutions provider Braemac at WA Mining Conference & Exhibition 2026. Together, they will showcase reliable computing solutions designed for mining, energy, and heavy industrial applications.
As the mining industry advances digital transformation, automation, and remote operations, Axiomtek and Braemac will present smart mining solutions powered by Transportation IoT, Industrial IoT, and Edge Computing. These solutions help mining operators improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and remote maintenance capabilities.
Reliable Computing for Extreme Mining Environments
Mining operations often take place in remote and challenging environments, where equipment must operate in high temperatures, heavy dust, and strong vibration, with limited access to on-site maintenance. For this reason, mining applications need computing platforms that deliver not only strong performance but also reliable, stable operation over long periods.
At WA Mining 2026, Axiomtek will showcase a range of solutions designed for smart mining and other demanding industrial applications.
UST200: Rugged Edge Computing for Heavy-Duty Equipment
Axiomtek's UST200 is a rugged computing platform designed for outdoor, heavy-duty, and in-vehicle applications. It offers strong vibration resistance, wide-temperature operation, and high reliability in demanding environments. The UST200 has been successfully deployed in oil drilling rig applications on the U.S. East Coast, demonstrating reliable performance in high-vibration, heavy-duty environments. For mining applications, the UST200 can support data collection, equipment monitoring, and fleet management for mining trucks, drilling equipment, and other heavy machinery. By processing data close to the equipment, the UST200 helps mining operators monitor equipment conditions in real time and improve operational efficiency.
GOT710A: Rugged HMI for Smart Mining Operations
The GOT710A is a rugged touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI) with an IP65-rated front panel and EN 50155 certification for demanding railway and vehicle applications. Its high-brightness, auto-dimming touchscreen, wide operating temperature range, and rugged design ensure clear, reliable operation in environments with strong sunlight, dust, and vibration. The GOT710A is suitable for mining vehicle cockpit controls, drilling equipment interfaces, fleet management systems, and heavy machinery monitoring. It enables operators to easily view equipment information and perform real-time control in challenging environments.
ICO340: IIoT Gateway for Remote Management
Scheduled for launch in Q4 2026, the ICO340 is designed for smart energy and Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications. It supports Basic Firmware Resiliency (BFR) features, including BIOS recovery and out-of-band (OOB) remote management. For mining sites located far from cities, on-site maintenance can be costly and time-consuming. The ICO340 helps address these challenges by supporting remote system monitoring, recovery, and rebooting, reducing the need for on-site service and helping minimize downtime. Applications include smart substations, solar and energy storage systems at mining sites, and other remote or unmanned locations, helping operators manage equipment more efficiently from a distance.
Partnering with Braemac to Expand the ANZ Smart Mining Market
WA Mining 2026 marks another important step in Axiomtek and Braemac's efforts to expand in the Western Australian mining market. Following their successful collaboration at AUSRAIL 2025, the two companies are once again joining forces at a major Australian industry event, further strengthening their partnership throughout Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Combining Braemac's local market experience and presence across ANZ with Axiomtek's expertise in industrial computing, in-vehicle systems, and IoT solutions, the two companies will continue to explore opportunities in the mining, energy, and heavy industrial sectors. Together, Axiomtek and Braemac aim to help mining operators achieve smarter, more efficient, and more resilient operations.
