  • Flexible working hours are implemented at the Xizhi Headquarters, along with free shuttle services (XinDian Line, ZhongHe Line, Tamsui, and Beitou routes).
  • The Employee Welfare Committee provides diverse benefits, including Family Day events, travel subsidies, wedding and funeral support, hospitalization and maternity subsidies, sports competitions, departmental snack funds, special store discounts, and various arts, cultural, and parent-child activities.

  • The Employee Stock Ownership Trust (ESOP) has been implemented since February 2022. Employees may allocate part of their salary to purchase company stock, with a 30% matching contribution from the Company. As of March 2024, 325 employees (34% of all staff) have joined, making the Trust one of the Company’s top five shareholders.
  • Since 2025, the Company has implemented benefits exceeding the Labor Standards Act, including five days of full-paid sick leave per year, no makeup work on makeup days, and hosting Sports Day on a regular working day.

 

Gender Equality & Parental Leave

In addition, according to the "Act of Gender Equality in Employment", except that there is any gender differences or discrimination in various employee benefits, Axiomtek fully complies with the relevant laws and regulations related to parental leave without pay, and there is no distinction between men and women when applying for parental leave, and employees can also apply for reinstatement smoothly. To enable outstanding talents who are temporarily unable to devote themselves to the workplace, they can temporarily retain their jobs according to the needs of childcare, and return to work to connect with career development after they can devote themselves to the workplace.

Retirement System

Axiomtek has a defined benefit pension plan in accordance with the Labor Standards Law. This plan covers all regular employees’ service years prior to the enforcement of the Labor Pension Act on July 1, 2005, as well as the service years of employees who chose to remain under the pension mechanism after that date. Under the defined benefit plan, employees accrue two units per year for the first 15 years of service, and one unit per year for each additional year, up to a maximum of 45 units. Pension benefits are calculated based on the number of units accrued and the average monthly salary of the last six months prior to retirement. Axiomtek contributes 2% of employees’ monthly salaries to the retirement fund, which is deposited with the Bank of Taiwan under the management of an independent retirement fund committee.

On July 1, 2005, Axiomtek also established a pension mechanism in accordance with the Labor Pension Act, applicable to employees of ROC nationality. Employees who opt for this system receive 6% of their monthly salary allocated to their individual pension accounts at the Labor Insurance Bureau. Pension benefits are disbursed based on the account balance, either monthly or as a lump sum.

Work Environment and Employee Safety

Axiomtek is committed to creating a safe and healthy workplace and fostering a positive corporate culture to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. In addition to complying with relevant domestic laws and regulations, our working environment meets internationally recognized standards. The factory has implemented the ISO 14001 environmental management system and the OHSAS 18001/TOSHMS occupational safety and health management system, both of which have been verified. In 2019, these systems were upgraded to ISO 45001/CNS 45001 to further strengthen environmental protection, safety, and health initiatives. Beyond pollution prevention, waste reduction, and resource recycling, we continuously manage and improve potential environmental, safety, and health risks.

To ensure employees feel secure about their workplace, on-site doctors will provide monthly services throughout 2024. They will track employees with abnormal health examination results, collaborate with occupational safety personnel to assess the work environment, provide guidance on maintaining health outside of work, and help develop personalized health plans for colleagues in need—offering comprehensive health protection. All internal and external access points are equipped with surveillance cameras or access control devices to maintain 24-hour security. Additionally, security personnel assist in safeguarding office areas during nighttime hours.

There were no fire incidents in 2024. Examples of workplace environmental protection measures (such as identification of fire risks in adverse situations and key feasible disaster reduction measures, etc.) and their implementation are as follows:

  • The company formulates an emergency response operation drill plan every year and has its personnel conduct escape and evacuation drills on site. In addition, the management unit of the chemical storage area of the factory formulates a leakage drill plan and invites the operation execution unit to conduct the leakage treatment process and review to prevent accidents.
  • In addition to fire extinguisher equipment, the Company also installs automatic gas fire extinguishing facilities in important equipment rooms.
  • Emergency escape instructions are posted at the entrances and exits of each floor of the Company, requiring new employees to be familiar with the escape routes in their area.
  • Fire management personnel in each area shall conduct independent inspections of fire sources, fire refuge facilities, and fire safety equipment every month and keep records.

Environmental Policy

Axiomtek’s environmental policy is: “Environmental protection is unlimited, resources are sustainable.” We ensure that all employees understand the importance of environmental protection through communication, training, practical operations, and continuous improvement. In product design and manufacturing, we strictly comply with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and requirements to minimize our impact on the environment.

Occupational Safety and Health Policy

Axiomtek has a dedicated labor safety management unit and personnel. In the process of product development, manufacturing, testing, and sales, in addition to complying with safety and health regulations, the Company also cooperates with international and Taiwanese safety and health management systems to implement hazard risk management, conducts hazard assessments, and continuously improves risks for each of the Company's operations and work areas. In addition, through pre-employment safety and health training for new employees, occupational safety and health training for on-the-job employees, safety promotion, fire drills, and escape drills, we instill correct occupational safety and health information in our colleagues, aiming to reduce occupational safety and health accidents and fulfill our responsibility to protect employees.

  • Implement occupational safety training for new employees for 3 hours per person
  • Increase occupational safety training for employees to 4 hours every 3 years
  • Regularly conduct occupational safety management system audits once a year
  • Implement and improve the occupational safety management system, and audit every defect

In 2021, Axiomtek completed its first SMETA external audit and verification. In addition to providing a safe and friendly workplace, Axiomtek places great importance on employee rights, respecting employees’ freedom of choice, freedom of association, and the right to collective bargaining. We maintain formal employment relationships, strictly prohibit child labor and discrimination, and do not allow any harsh or inhumane treatment of workers, ensuring full compliance with local labor regulations.

In August 2023, as part of facility planning, Axiomtek relocated the original Beitou factory to Xizhi Huanhe Street and implemented facility upgrades to enhance workplace safety and provide employees with a healthier environment. In December 2023, Axiomtek passed an ISO 45001 external audit and obtained the Occupational Safety and Health Management System Certification, valid from December 25, 2023, to December 24, 2026.

In line with labor health protection regulations, Axiomtek employs a full-time occupational health nurse to oversee four key health protection programs, track and manage cases, provide consultation, deliver first aid and emergency care, and organize regular health promotion activities. Factory doctors visit monthly to provide on-site services, while occupational medicine specialists conduct additional consultations every four months. Annual employee health checks are carried out with a 100% participation rate.

Employees identified during health examinations with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, or obesity receive ongoing support. Nurses coordinate with factory doctors to provide health consultations and establish tracking records, while doctors recommend appropriate measures such as further medical treatment, medication, workload adjustments, and stress management. In 2024, 89 employees benefited from consultation and follow-up support related to these conditions.

Axiomtek’s Labor Safety Office also promotes work-life balance by organizing activities such as stress relief lectures and aerobic sessions. In 2024, we held eight aerobic activities totaling 12 hours, with more than 200 participants. To further encourage health and wellness, Axiomtek organizes an annual sports meeting featuring events such as the “10,000 steps per month” challenge. In addition, Axiomtek has operated a rhythm club for more than three years, hosting lunchtime activities twice a week, with over 30 employees actively participating.
