Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, has announced eBOX671-885-FL, its powerful industrial-grade embedded vision system featuring PoE (power-over-Ethernet) support. To provide better computing performance, the powerful PoE embedded vision system supports LGA1150 socket 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 or Celeron™ processor (Codename: Haswell/Haswell-refresh). Its four channel Gigabit PoE ports allow multiple cabling to cameras and any PoE power device. With high-end CPU and multi-I/O connectivity, this fanless embedded vision system is well suited to multi-camera imaging applications such as optical inspection, surveillance system and IoT & M2M-related applications.
“The Axiomtek four channel Gigabit PoE embedded vision solution can simplify system installation and lower the maintenance costs. Thanks to its fanless design, the cost of personnel maintenance significantly reduces and there is no need to clean or replace air filter, or replace worn out fan anymore. The quad-core PoE fanless embedded system eBOX671-885-FL comes with full feature of I/O, including four COM ports, six Gigabit LAN ports with four PoE supported, six USB 3.0 ports, 8-CH programmable or optional isolated digital I/O, so as to integrate with various industrial equipment and communicate with multiple devices, such as motion sensors, buttons, optical detectors, relays, lighting and many more,” said Vincent Ji, product manager of Product Marketing Division at Axiomtek.
Concerning graphics performance, with the system memory maximum up to 16 GB, the high-performance embedded box PC can support three independent hi-resolution displays and 4K resolution, offering best quality imaging. For growing amount of storage need, the versatile vision system is equipped with dual 2.5” SATA HDD drive bays (RAID 0 & 1 supported), one CFast™, mSATA. Two internal PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM card slot allow system to access internet through 3G, Wi-Fi, GSM and LTE. Its compact size and wide range temperature (-20ºC~50ºC) support make the device suitable for most hardened industrial environments. The rugged Gigabit PoE embedded computer eBOX671-885-FL is aimed to provide perfect performance, perfect-efficiency service, integrating vision and motion form factors for security, surveillance and optical inspection applications.
The I/O interface includes two Gigabit LAN ports, four Gigabit PoE ports, four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485 ports), one digital I/O, six USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one audio, one DVI-I, one HDMI, one DisplayPort and three antenna openings. Wall mount kit is available upon request.
