Integrated with Intel® Gen 9 graphics, the COM Express® type 6 module prevails in its excellent graphics performance while supporting DX12.0, OCL 2.0, OGL 4.3 with resolution up to 4K (3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz). Furthermore, two 204-pin SO-DIMM DDR3L-1600 have been deployed in the CEM313 up to a maximum of 8 GB Overall. With the innovative design of low power consumption, wide temperature range, and seismic resistance, the CEM313 can be served as an excellent solution for graphics-intensive applications over the IIoT, including industrial control, medical imaging, digital signage, gaming machines, military, and networking.
“In conjunction with Intel® Apollo Lake platform, Axiomtek’s new CEM313 was designed with simple and robust components enabling fast and easy development. The industrial grade computer module was built to withstand a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C (-4°F to +158°F) in various harsh environments. Its rich I/O capabilities can satisfy a wide range of vertical embedded applications, hence, highly reduce the time of deployment. Broadly supported graphic outputs through two DDI ports include HDMI, DVI (VGA for option) and LVDS as well as an optional embedded DisplayPort. In addition, Axiomtek’s CEM313 provides high-bandwidth I/O interfaces including four PCI Express lanes, two SATA-600, one Gigabit LAN with Intel® i211AT controller, four USB 3.0, eight USB 2.0, and four digital I/O channels. Also, the LPC bus is available for easy connection of legacy I/O interfaces. Alternatively, more interfaces such as one SPI interface, two serial TX/RX, and one I2C can be utilized to suit customers’ needs. The industrial embedded module runs on +12V or +5V SB power in both AT and ATX modes. For evaluation and development purposes, Axiomtek has also provided the CEB94006 - a COM Express® type 6 carrier board - to co-function with the CEM313 to support rich I/O and expansions interfaces. To ensure reliability and stability, hardware monitoring and Watchdog Timer are in place. This new low-power COM Express type 6 compact module runs under Windows® 10 and Linux operating systems while supporting Axiomtek AXView 2.0, an intelligent remote management software exclusively offered by Axiomtek.
