June 17, 2008-- AXIOMTEK is pleased to release a new 15” expandable industrial panel PC, the PANEL1153-841, which is based on the Intel® Core™2 Duo processor and Intel® Q965 chipset to deliver powerful computing and advanced graphics. The PANEL1153-841 adopts a rugged industrial-grade plastic front bezel, and is equipped with a 15" XGA TFT LCD with a resolution of up to 1280x 1024 pixels. To answer the growing demands of multimedia application, the PANEL1153-841 features two 1394a ports, two Gigabit Ethernet, two PCI slots, a built-in speaker, a WLAN module and up to 3GB of dual channel DDR2 system memory. Applications include wireless self-service points, interactive kiosks, and building automation.

The rugged plastic front bezel is NEMA 4 / IP65 compliant with the advantages of light weight, high degree of hardness, good heat releasing, easy-to-shape, and anti-corrosion ability to be designed to work in a wide range of environments and heavy-duty industrial fields.  

Great Expansion Capability
Featuring two PCI slots, user can easily plug in standard half-size PCI cards for expansion and system integration, such as motion card, communication card and so on.  

Speaker & WLAN Antenna Supported
The PANEL1153-841 features a built-in speaker for KIOSK application to display multimedia content program. It also supports WLAN module & antenna for wireless connectivity. 

Mounting options include panel mount, wall mount, rack mount, desktop or VESA mount. Moreover, this 15” industrial panel PC can run the latest operating software including Windows® Vista, Windows® 2000, and Windows® XP.
